Steve Smith

Steve is the owner and Captain of Fire Island Fishing Charters.  He is a native Long Islander, born and raised in West Islip, NY. Steve was raised on the water, fishing the waters of Fire Island as a kid with his dad.  

Steve has USCG accredited program training and OUPV-Captain's license which allows him to offer the highest quality charter services to his clients. Steve holds a BBA-Marketing degree from LIU-Post and several years experience Corp sales, trading and supply chain development.

Mike Gilberto

Mike is the owner of Fire Island Fishing Charters. He was raised on Long Island waters, seasoned from years working local charter fishing fleets at Captree Fishing Basin. 

His experience on the water includes safe, eco sensitive and successful catching of South Shore species from flounder to 300lb+ Tuna. Mike holds a BBA from Hartwick College and several years experience in Corp sales and business development. .
